Akshay Kumar‘s espionage thriller Bell Bottom will be the first film to start shooting post lockdown in the month of August. The film has an ensemble cast that is featuring Vaani Kapoor in the lead role while Huma Qurashi, Lara Dutta will be seen in supporting roles. The cast and crew will be supposed to fly for the UK in August. The makers of the film shared a picture on social media to announce the beginning of shooting post lockdown. In the poster, we can see Akshay Kumar is sitting on the car while other cast members are standing against it including Huma Qureshi, Lara Dutta, Vaani Kapoor while Jackky Bhagnani is sitting on the footstep of the car.
Bell Bottom is an espionage thriller that has been set in the 1980s. The film is about some forgotten heroes of India. Vaani Kapoor will be cast in the opposite of Akshay Kumar. The film has been directed by Ranjit M Tiwari while produced by Deepshikha Deshmukh, Nikkhil Advani, Monisha Advani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Vashu Bhagnani, and Jackky Bhagnani. The film is written by Parveez Shaikh and scheduled to release on 2nd April 2021.
It is the first time Vaani Kapoor is sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar. She said “she is excited to share screen space with Akshay Kumar for the first time. It was the script she picked up without thinking much as she wanted to become a part of it. She is thrilled to shake hand with Pooja Entertainment. She said during the first schedule the set was just like her home. She is eagerly waiting to resume shoot”. Akshay revealed the first look poster in November last year. We are so excited about Akshay’s spy thriller and it is cherry on the cake that Vaani Kapoor will be seen alongside Akshay.
