Befikre Box Office Collection 1st / 2nd Day Worldwide Earning Report :- The Bollywood film Befikre features Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor in the lead role receives a good response at the box office on the first day after its release. Befikre saw around 45-45% occupancy in theatre during the time period of morning shows, reported at Koimoi. The film is doing particularly well in multiplexes, as compared to single screens. Around 35% of cinemas booked for Befikre and the film has been produced under the banner of the Yash Raj Films.
As per the media reports, the rom-com movie Befikre was anticipated to collect Rs 10-12 crore at the box office on its first day first show. Thanks to the Ranveer Singh’s stardom and Vaani Kapoor also nailed her appearance in the movie with her sexy and glamorous avatar. Moreover, promotion of the movie also goes up to the mark.
Befikre has been made on a budget of Rs 55 crore and the cost invested on over its promotional and advertisement (P&A) is Rs 15 crore, taking the total cost of the film to Rs 70 crore, released on over 2100 screens in the domestic market and the movie captures 800 screens on the overseas market, which result to have 2900 screens worldwide.
Ranveer Singh’s flamboyance and Aditya Chopra’s directional comeback is the highlights of the movie and it will be also interesting to see Ranveer on his jovial style after he delivers much high voltage acting in the historical flick “Bajirao Mastaani”. There is no doubt that Befikre is giving the actor an opportunity to explore a different side of his personality and the fans also likes his comic timing in the movie.
It is Aditya Chopra directed the movie Befikre after he directed flick like, “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” and “Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Gaayenge”, both movies are with Shah Rukh Khan so it is the first time when Aditya worked in a movie without Shah Rukh Khan and seems like Befikre worth of it.
Befikre is Vaani Kapoor’s second Hindi movie after “Shudh Desi Romance” co-starring Parineeti Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput. Aditya in his interviews has said that with Befikre, he is trying to break away from the DDLJ formula.
The only other film that has managed to make a profit since PM Narendra Modi’s demonetization is “Dear Zindagi” features Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt. Tweeting about the film’s collection, the trade analyst Taran Adarsh shares on his official page of the microblogging site, “#DearZindagi [Wk 2] Fri 2.25 cr, Sat 3.50 cr, Sun 4.35 cr, Mon 1.25 cr, Tue 1.17 cr, Wed 1.05 cr, Thu 92 lacs.
