“Being Smart” Smartphone to be launched by Salman Khan :- Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set to involve in smartphones line-up of Android devices under ‘BeingSmart’ brand.
According to a report, Salman has already finalised the Chinese player to manufacture phones that will cost below Rs 20,000.
Salman is expected to take the direct shareholding in the new venture. “He’s currently building a team with leadership at Samsung and Micromax, two industry executives told ‘dekh news’.
The new android Salman’s being human is expected to be sold online before offline stores. Being Human is a clothing brand, which supports education and healthcare initiatives, it sells accessories as well.
‘BeingSmart’ smartphones will compete with Oppo and Vivo in the mid-budget segment.
India is the fastest growing smartphone market after China and the US. Especially, with the mid-budget segment in India, Salman’s association with the brand is likely to craze a lot of fans.
Overall in the smartphone operating system market, Android is on top in Q4 with 82 percent of the total market.
Our Secret Reporter said- Salman tried to enter into the smartphone market two years ago as well. Smartphone makers had backed out at that time as Salman demanded high royalty charges.
