Dear Zindagi Box Office Collection: Day 4 SRK-Alia’s solid Overseas Weekend :- The movie actors Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan-starrer romantic drama Dear Zindagi showed a super growth on Sunday too. The film has collected a huge amount of Rs 32.50 crore on its opening weekend. The weekend collection from the overseas market, mainly in US and Canada also stands impressively and it collected Rs 27.45 crore. In the home country, the movie managed to earned and collected Rs 12. 50 crore, which is simply extraordinary.
The film earlier collected Rs 20 crore in the first two days of its release and in the end the report comes to be the extraordinary. The film opened at Rs 8.75 crore on Friday and on the Saturday weekend it’s earned Rs 11.25 crore.
The trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the total collections of the romantic drama by stated, “#DearZindagi packs a SOLID PUNCH… Shows FAB growth… Fri 8.75 cr, Sat 11.25 cr, Sun 12.50 cr. Total: ₹ 32.50 cr [1200 screens]. India biz”.
Taran also shared further, “#DearZindagi – OVERSEAS – Opening Weekend: $ 4 million [₹ 27.45 cr]… Best in USA-Canada and UAE-GCC… SUPER”.
The film went on to impress the overseas audience as well and it is the movie receives a mid-week release in UAE, has collected Rs 5.40 crore till Friday in the country and GCC. In India, the film got only 1200 screens making it a much smaller release that a usual Shah Rukh Khan film. The film is doing well in North America as well.
Women-centric films this time also creates amazing in the box office, including films like Neerja, Highway and Pink to join the league of these high budget Hindi movies. What sets apart these female characters who are just pleasant for eyes to watch them.
You can’t stop praised the movie Dear Zindagi because of its worthy story as well as by watching the movies people can kick out their worries and problems. All these films have a vast wealth of emotional depth that one rarely sees in normal Masala flick.
The film critic Komal Nahta, during a TV interview, asked Gauri Shinde if making a woman-centric film and how she is conscious of it and regarding this issue Gauri said to media that, “It wasn’t a conscious decision. But then why not make films about women. I enjoy working with women. There are already so many movies about men. Also, any young person irrespective of his or her gender can relate to the movie”.
Gauri also said that she was keen to have Shah Rukh Khan in the role of Jehangir Khan which is the very crucial role and she stated to media that, “I saw her cry her heart out in a scene in Highway. She was just magical in the film”.
“When Alia was asked if she wanted to work with Gauri, the actor said, I watched English Vinglish in theaters with my friends. And I told my friend that I want to work with Gauri Shinde one day”.

Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to thank viewers as they showered their love to the movie and SRK tweeted, “Dear Viewers thank u for the special love. Big thx 2 @DharmaMovies @RedChilliesEnt for the special release strategy”.
