The Malayalam film industry has sunk in mourn after the demise of notable scriptwriter and director K.R Sachidanandan. The director has passed away at the Thrissur hospital on Thursday night. The 48 years old director was recovering from hip surgery. Doctor Prem Kumar, who was treating him, said “there was no negligence in surgery. He was healthy enough for the surgery and was not given anaesthesia. He got a heart attack after the eight hours of surgery. Today, at 4:30 PM, he will be cremated at Kochi Ravipuram Crematorium. He was the lawyer by profession and practised law for around eight years in the high court, hence the body will be kept in the high court chamber to pay tribute from 9:30 to 10:00 AM. After that, their body will be taken to his residence in Thammanam. He has spent around thirteen years in the film industry. He was supposed to do the next film with Prithviraj.
Many celebrities arrived at the hospital to meet him including Biju Menon, Renjith, Suresh Krishna, and Prithiviraj. He has directed around two films and written script for around 12 films. He also directed some plays. His first film as a director was Anarkali featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Priya Gor, Biju Menon, and Miya George. The last film was Ayyappanum Koshiyum, an action thriller film that was featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon in the titular role. The film was released on 7th February 2020.
The actor was born in Kodungalloor village of Thrissur district in Kerala. He has co-written the film with Sethu such as Chocolate in 2007, Robinhood in 2009, Makeup Man in 2011, and Seniors in 2012. He had written an independent film titled Run Baby Run. The year 2020, has become ominous for the entire world and especially for India because we have lost many stars this year.
