The fire that Modi stoked in the Indian Occupied Kashmir is now spreading to the rest of India. Modi’s fascist and divisive agenda stands naked. The devastation a small man can cause while occupying a big office is frightening. #AligarhMuslimUniversity #JamiaProtest pic.twitter.com/aSiU9uvtfu

Typical altnews “fact check”
1) imply the video is fake (never explicitly)
2) ignore that they DID CALL FOR VIOLENCE and imply (again never explicitly) that cuz they didn’t say “Hindus” it was peaceful
3) don’t fact check videos that don’t suit the narrative#JamiaProtest pic.twitter.com/e4l00S3Y6l— Abhijit Iyer-Mitra (@Iyervval) December 16, 2019
This is so perhaps because as per the various media reports people and the local people are protested at Jamia Nagar on Sunday which is regarding against the amended Citizenship Act.
Our country was built on ‘Civil Disobedience’ & ‘Peaceful Protest’. This is what our Bapu taught us. The government & police would do well to remember what happens when establishment greets protests with Violence.
The protests will swell & become a movement! #JamiaProtest— Faye DSouza (@fayedsouza) December 16, 2019
