Katrina Kaif And Ali Abbas Zafar To Reunite For A Superhero Action Franchise: Ali Zafar’s debut Movie was ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ in 2011. It was the first movie when Katrina Kaif was working with the versatile director. After this, they both have reunited after six years in Salman Kha’s spy thriller ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. In the film, Katrine reprised her role as ISI agent Zoya from the Kabir Khan directed Ek Tha Tiger (2012). In fact, she was the one who introduced Ali Abbas Zafar to Salman Khan and took steps into the duo’s period-drama, Bharat, after the sudden existence of Priyanka Chopra just before the flick was ready to roll. We heard that the Bharat director is writing and directing and producing a superhero action flick.
Zafar Ali will be directing the movie, now he is busy to prepare a tempting script. It is going to be an exciting project for both of them as it is all ready to showcase the never seen before stunts in Bollywood. Katrina is currently at her fittest and regular workouts will come in handy. The idea is to spin a franchise, informed the sources close to the development. Ali also unveiled that he is also working on a spin-off for Zoya, Katrina’s Tiger character.
He would also be producing the movie and buzz is, he is in the rumor with Ronnie Screwvala to be a partner on the same project. This untitled film is supposed to take place on the screen this year in 2020, but the cast is yet to confirm any date. “Once Ali has completed the script, he will be going on a recce to scout for locations.” said the sources. Over the years, Katrina and Ali have been forging a strong emotional bond, with the latter admitting that she is his closest friend in Mumbai. “we come from a similar middle-class background, our values are the same, and we discuss everything, on the work front we are very transparent with each other.
