The much-awaited film KGF Chapter 2 has been announced by the makers after getting a huge success in KGF Chapter 1. The film is being directed by Prashanth Neel while produced by Vijay Kirugandur. The Kannada language film is starring an ensemble cast that includes Yash in the role of Raja Krishnappa Bairya, Sanjay Dutt in the role of Adheera, Raveena Tandon in the role of Ramika Sen, Srinidhi Shetty in the role of Reena Desai, Anant Nag in the role of Ingalagi, Balakrishna in the role of Inayaat Khaleel, Malavika Avinash in the role of Deepa Hegde among many others.

The shooting of KGF Chapter 2 started in March 2019. The Munna Bhai actor Sanjay Dutt confirmed speculations doing rounds on the internet about his appearance. The poster of the film was revealed on actors 60th birthday on 29th July 2019 where Yash said that Sanjay would be performing the role of villain in KGF Chapter 2. This time once again the makers have a surprise for the fans of KGF 2 that is supposed to be unveiled on 29tht July on the 61st birthday of the star. This time the audience must be experiencing something huge at 10:00 AM on 29th July.
It’s been revealed before that Sanjay will be playing the lead antagonist Adheera in the film while Yash would be playing the lead protagonist Rocky. After the huge success of Chapter 1, the audience is eager to know what makers have in their kitty to give to the audience. The shooting will be resumed after a few days when the situation gets well. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic put the world on the halt and due to it the shooting of KGF Chapter 2 has come on the standstill. As per the makers, it will be renewed soon as they just have to shoot only for 20-25 days. The film has been scheduled to release on 23rd October 2020.
The first chapter was also directed by the same director and producer. The film will also revolve around Krsihnaappa Bairya Rocky. Most of the actors are reprising their role in this sequel such as Yash, Srinidhi, Anant Nag, Ramachandra Raju and many others.
