The original series of ZEE5 premium ‘Never Kiss Your Best Friend’ is loved by the audience in a huge amount that was starring Nakuul Mehta and Anya Singh. Now, the makers have decided to bring a new part lockdown special, titled ‘Never Kiss Your Best Friend Lockdown Special’. The series has been shot by the cast at their home. This time it is featuring Zain Imam, as the ex-boyfriend of Tanie played by Anya Singh. Tanie meets her ex-boyfriend on social media. The show is ready to be streamed from 18th June on ZEE5.

In the conversation with Anya, she revealed that it’s not a part two. The reason behind making the series is to entertain people in this quarantine period because the cast garnered massive attention in the first part and the audience was connected strongly with them. The web series is based on the novel of the same name written by Sumrit Shahi but the second part is entirely different as Sumrit would have never thought that there would be something like lockdown.
Anya shared the difficulties that were faced by the entire cast in shooting from there home. She said ” They all used to be on videocalls and from there they used to get instructions. The work that could be done in just half an hour used to get more than an hour. Everything they had to do by themselves whether it is makeup, hair, dress up, or anything.

Zain says on this that it was the experience that he never had before, it was a different and tough kind of experience that everybody of them had. He also said that it was pretty hard because usually as an actor they are required to act only but now they have to do almost everything directing, acting, editing, makeup, hair, dressing etc.
