This 25th July one of the most appreciated and awaited low budget but good Biographical movie Omerta is set to release at the Zee5. The first day is looking good and we are expecting a good impression from the movie in the upcoming days too. We are sure that you all are going to love this movie because of the good acting, screenplay and directional work. Yes! The storyline isn’t that good but it is must watch a non-commercial movie this weekend at the ott platform.

Well, Omerta is a 2017 Indian biographical crime drama movie which is directed by Hansal Mehta. The movie is featuring Rajkummar Rao in the role of Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, a British terrorist of Pakistani descent. The movie was already screened in the Special Presentations section at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival, the Mumbai Film Festival, Florence Film Festival, Hong Kong International Film Festival, and the Busan International Film Festival.

Story Based on-

The movie is based on the 1994 kidnappings of Westerners in India for which Omar was arrested and served time in prison and the plotting of the murder of Wall Street journalist Daniel Pearl in 2002. The story is mostly based on real incidents but so many things are over-presented that’s why we said that the storyline was weak in the movie.

Positive Points of the movie-

  • This movie has good acting work.
  • The screenplay is superb.
  • Direction work is awesome.

Negative Points of the movie-

  • This movie has weak editing.
  • The cinematography is weird in the movie.
  • The storyline is slow in the movie.

Final Review–

This movie is a must-watch because Rajkummar Rao is looking quite good as the main leading actor in the movie. The movie is good and got good direction work along with good screenplay work. Now, as a viewer, we think that this type of cinema is not here for making big bucks but it is here to tell us a good story with a simple entertaining plot.
