Pooja Batra is married to Nawab Shah; Watch Pictures Images & Video: A few days ago, actors Pooja Batra and Nawab Shah’s rumored wedding created a lot of buzz in the social media which was not being confirmed up till today. Finally, days after being in rumored, the actors confirmed their wedding news on Monday.
Yes, it is now finally revealed that they are now a married couple.
Pooja, in an interview to Bombay Times, revealed that they got married in an extremely private wedding held in New Delhi.
The actress told Bombay Times, “Yes, we are married. Nawab and I exchanged vows in Delhi, with only our families in attendance. Our loved ones kept asking us why we were delaying it (the marriage). I was simply going with the flow, but then I realized that he is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, and there is no point in delaying it any further,”
Pooja and Nawab had basically an Arya Samaj wedding and they are going to register their marriage later this week.
Pooja and Nawab apparently began their dating about five months ago and they get introduced to each other by a common friend.
As per to the reports, these rumored couples used to make love posts in their respective Instagram pages which trended up on and off.
Nawab, with a post on Eid sort of also confirmed their relationship by tagging Pooja in a ‘Follow Me’ post, where he wrote, “It took 46 years for my soul to be ready, and then my mate appeared. Eid Mubarak soulmate. Eid Mubarak to all.”
The social media post by Nawab started all this buzz when last week he posted a Boomerang video introducing a woman’s hand wearing bridal choora. After that the rumors catch fire and it was said that he might have got married to Pooja.
Pooja also shared a picture where she was seen dressed in an Indian outfit and choora. But, on the other hand, there wasn’t any official confirmation on the same.
Pooja is a former beauty queen who is well-known for her roles in the movies such as ‘Virasat’, ‘Haseena Maan Jaayegi’ and ‘Nayak: The Real Hero’. Previously, she was married in the year 2002 to a doctor named Sonu S Ahluwalia but they further ended up their marriage and got divorced in 2011.
In the meantime, Nawab Shah, who earlier started his acting career with the TV industry in his initial days of his on-screen career, has then later starred in films such ‘Lakshya’, ‘Jaan-E-Mann’, ‘Don 2’, ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, ‘Dilwale’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. He is going to be next seen in the upcoming movie ‘Panipat’.
