Poster Boys Movie Review & Rating, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol Twitter Live Updates Audience Response :- The story of the film Poster Boys is set in the North Indian village, three distinct men – local goon Arjun (Shreyas), retired army officer Jagawar Chaudhry (Sunny) and school teacher Vinay (Bobby). The story further follows that the trio will be shocked to find themselves that they became the ‘poster boys’ of male sterilization after their pictures randomly appear on a public service and go viral in order to promote the ad promoting vasectomy.
So now the trio became the victim of the public shaming. The three go on board on a mission to fight the system that wrongly pronounced them ‘sterile’ even without taking their permission. The film Poster Boys is a Hindi remake of Sameer Patil’s 2014 Marathi film Poshter Boyz.
With this movie, the Deol Brothers aka Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol also making their comeback to the silver screen and the film also marked the debut of the actor Shreyas Talpade as a director who already received some good lights in the Marathi cinema.
Poster Boys Movie Review:
The best part of this movie is the Shreyas Talpade’s directorial debut and the actor obviously come into skin of the character and he naturally looks funny on the screen without any much effort.
The film is all about the common people who stuck in an uncommon situation as well they deal with it as they must need to deal with it. Now mission of the trio is to prove their innocence which goes ineffective but public will be feeling their trauma in the movie.
Something which is refreshing in the story is that Shreyas doesn’t follow the ‘Bollywood regular comedy’ neither he borrows the theme from the Southern Indian or the Hollywood movie instead he thought to make his acting debut with the movie Poster Boy which is loosely based on a Marathi movie “Poshter Boy”.
The topic is significance and sensitivity and it seems like the leading stars managed to justice with the movie and their roles, but still, Shreyas steals the show as a director.
Credit also goes to the writers as he managed to localize the Hindi adaptation and comic punches good in the movie. But what pleasantly surprises is to see the hilarious Deol brothers’ jugalbandi in a never-seen-before comic avatar.
Shreyas extracts the best out of them and the Brothers present their comic trimming amazingly. Ashwini Kalsekar and Talpade’s sidekicks too deserve a special mention they also managed to make people laugh.
This melodrama Poster Boy revolves around men who unknowingly promote ‘Bina taka nasbandi operation’ is a light-hearted and clever comedy which is the satire on the major problem growing population in the country.
