The movie is featuring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. The movie is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat which is said to be inspired by real events. The movie is mostly about an Indian spy married to a Pakistani military officer (Vicky Kaushal) during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 on the order of her father (Rajit Kapur).

Story Based on-

Raazi is based on a true story of a young girl, who was sent to Pakistan in 1971, to source out any information she could, as a war was becoming imminent between India and Pakistan. It is the journey of an ordinary Indian girl, in extraordinary circumstances.
