Rajkummar Rao will be seen in the Hindi remake of Telugu film ‘Hit’. The film marked the debut of writer-director Sailesh Kolanu. It has been produced by Prashanti Tipirneni and Nani. The film was starring Ruhani Sharma and Vishwak Sen in the lead role. The film was profitable at the box office. The director of ‘Hit’ Sailesh Kolanu will also come to direct this film. It is the story of a Policeman who hunts for a woman. Talking about a film Rajkumar said “He connected to the film instantly. It is a captivating story that is relevant in today’s time. He is hunting to play the characters that he has never known and now he got a chance through this film. He is starting his journey with Sailesh and Dil Raju.
Sailesh who is coming in the remake version of the film says ” HIT tells the story of a police officer who is struggling to his present and as well as past. As it is a troubling character, makers were planning to bring the actor who can fetch darkness in it and after all this, he can catch the eyeballs of the audience. He said that since Rajkummar worked in Shaitan he keeps following his work and no one could play better than him. He is a brilliant actor. The film will be produced by Dil Raju who is currently busy in the shooting of Hindi remake of Jersey starring Shahid Kapoor, along with Kuldeep Rathore. The film is slated to release somewhere in 2021.
