After the Kapil-Sunil fight, the makers started scouting for new names to be associated with the show. The massive collapse between the two comedians has resulted in Grover quitting the show. And since then, various folks from the industry have tried to feature their names with the show.
However, Raju Shrivastav, the Great Indian Laughter Challenge contestant has grabbed a place in the show. He confirmed this morning that the lines have been signed and that he will be in the show. “Yes, I have started shooting for this show. The channel and the team group are satisfied with the episodes I have shot for them and have called me for further episodes,” he said.

I know what you are thinking, no he’s not going to take Sunil’s role as Dr Mashoor Gulati but he will be playing a unique character. “I don’t know how the channel is going to represent my character or my act to the audience. But this is true that I’m shooting for the show and will feature as a ‘new entry’,” he said.
It all started when Kapil invited his Great Indian Laughter Challenge folks to come as guests on his show after the fight broke out. Shrivastav, Qureshi and Sunil Pal came to the show as guests trying to hunk the audience and make them laugh downed as it seemed too old stream. He had all big respect for the show as well as his experience there. “I had a good time on the show. I respect this show. It was like a reunion. I am a small comedian who loves to make people laugh. I just need a stage. If they recall me, I will surely shoot.”
As fans have already seen a spark of what it would be like if the comedian signs the lines for The Kapil Sharma show. But wasn’t Raju supposed to unite things between Kapil and Sunil? He even had plans to make both the comedians talk together, sort their differences out. What happened to all that stuff? He answered, “I got hopes of bringing them together but Sunil is out of town. I am waiting for him to return.” Well, with the latest reveal by Grover, it is pretty sure that he doesn’t want to unite with such fellas.
