The relationship between Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha has been an open secret. The two have featured in Fukrey and Fukrey Returns. However, during the 74th Venice Film Festival, when Ali’s film and Abdul premiered, the couple made their relationship public. The two started dating each other in 2015 and if we look at the recent reports they both are all set to get hitched on April 15.
According to a report of Hindustan Times, a source close to the family said, “After discussions with their families, the couple is looking at tying the knot in mid-April in Delhi. The wedding ceremony will apparently be on April 15, which will be an intimate affair. It will be followed by a court marriage and a reception.”
The reports said earlier that the two have been planning for four major functions- the wedding ceremony and three grand receptions in Delhi, Lucknow, and Mumbai. As Ali’s family belongs to Lucknow and Richa’s family is from Delhi, respectively they want everyone to be the part of their joyful wedding as following this a grand reception is also decided for Bollywood celebs in Mumbai. According to the sources, The Lucknow reception will be on April 18. The reception in Mumbai will be for close friends and the date is not yet confirmed. It is being supposed that the date would be April 21. The beautiful couple is now busy to find the venues.
When Ali was asked about the possibility of the duo marrying soon, he said that they would do so when ready and, their families had been very accepting and supportive towards their relationship. While Richa Chadha was posed with a similar question, the actress says that she would prefer to tie the knot once she is ready to have kids as well.
