One of the much-awaited films of Bhatt’s is supposed to mark its release on the OTT platform, Disney+Hotstar. The film is the sequel to the 1991 film Sadak that was directed by Mahesh Bhatt. Now again, he is returning as the director for the film and it would mark his comeback after 20 years as a director. As we know Sadak 2 is directed by Mahesh Bhatt while produced by brother Mukesh Bhatt. The film will be featuring Alia Bhatt in the opposite of Aditya Roy Kapoor, and Pooja Bhatt in the opposite of Sanjay Dutt in the lead role. Apart from the lead cast, we will see Gulshan Grover, Akshay Anand, Jisshu Sen Gupta, Makarand Deshpande, Raj Kumar Bhutani, Mohammad Iqbal Khan, and Priyanka Bose.

The poster of the film has been revealed but it seems that netizens are not happy with the film or cast and crew as it includes Alia Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt who were being trolled and have been in controversy after the demise of the Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Alia was being alleged to not respect outsiders in the film industry while Mahesh has been trolled for his relationship with Sushant Singh’s rumored girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. Mahesh was also accused to promote nepotism in Bollywood. The fans are asking to not watch the film and almost all the users are in the favor. The film was scheduled to release on 10th July 2020 in theatres but now it would be delivered on Disney+Hotstar on the decided date. If we talk about the original film Sadak was released in 1991 and it was featuring Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in the lead roles and now in the sequel, they would be reprising their roles as Ravi and Pooja. Apart from the lead cast, the film was also starring Alia Bhatt’s mom and Mahesh’s wife Soni Razdan, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Neelima Azim, Avtar Gill, Pankaj Dheer, Gavin Packard, Mushtaq Khan, and Javed Khan Amrohi.
