Shraddha Kapoor’s family slammed makers of Rock On 2 for not postponing its release date :- It looks like the failure of the Rock On 2 at the Box Office made Shraddha Kapoor and her family unpleased with the makers and marketing team of the movie. Earlier, Shraddha blamed the marketing team for the flop of the second edition of Rock On, and now, Shraddha family is blaming the producers (Riteish Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar) for not postponing the release date of the movie.
According to the reports, the Kapoors were keen to postpone the release date till the cash flow in the country would become consistent after the demonetisation of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes on November 8, 2016. Rock On 2 was release just a day after when Prime Minister announced the demonetisation of the Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes and the movie failed at the box office and only earned around five crores.
Shraddha’s family are really upset with the flop of Rock On 2 as they believe that if the movie would have been release after some days, then it would have been a hit because the content of the movie was really impressive.
With the failure of Rock On 2, Shraddha streak of giving hit movie also fell as it was her first failure in her career since her debut movie Aashiqui 2 opposite Aditya Ray Kapoor. Meanwhile, apart from Shraddha Kapoor another actor from Rock On 2 Arjun Rampal also argued to shift the release date of the movie, however, the makers decided to stick to it.
