Sidharth Malhotra is all set to play a double role in his next film. Thadam is an official remake of a Tamil movie and it is an action thriller movie. In the movie, Sidharth would be playing a double role where he is a businessman and a gambler and a small-time thief who always endeavours to make a quick buck. Now any female actress is yet to be announced. The producers of Kabir Singh Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde, are also producing this. As a former one, this one too hit the mark on the head.
The actor took to his Instagram and shared a picture along with a post. He wrote: “Double trouble! Excited to be a part of this ultimate entertaining thriller, in association with @bhushankumar, @muradkhetani and @v__________k. See you at the movies on 20th November 2020 @tseriesfilms @cine1studios @tseries.official.” In a picture with the post, Sidharth can be seen posing with T Series’ Bhushan Kumar and producer Murad Khetani. The film will be released in November 2020.
Murad Khetani also shared the photo on Twitter. He captioned it as, “Delighted to announce my next, an action thriller, in collaboration with @itsBhushanKumar starring @SidMalhotra! The film will go on floors in May and is set to release on 20th November 2020. #VardhanKetkar @Cine1Studios@TSeries.”
Thadam was released in 2019 and it is a second-time remake. Thadam was the original movie written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Inder Kumar. The film stars Arun Vijay in a double role along with Tanya Hope, Smruthi Venkat, and Vidya Pradeep in the lead role. the film was the second collaboration of the two stars Arun Vijay and Magizh Thirumeni. The movie went on to become box office success after its release on March 1. It narrates the story of two identical-looking people caught in the cat and mouse game with the cops after the murder. Red was the first remake of the film.
Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde movies always boom the theatres. As we can see the last movie Kabir Singh that hit the stage last year. youngsters were a fan of the movie. Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani were playing the lead in the movie. Kabir Singh is the second-highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2019. It was a fantabulous movie. we can expect this for their upcoming project.
Everyone knows that Sidharth Malhotra has always been very skilled since his debut film Student of the year. Before some months ago Marjawan has been released that was also the marvellous movie. Now he is shooting for another movie Shershah which is expected to release on 1 July 2020.“This is my first biopic and I am super excited about it. He has a brother but the film is predominately about Captain Vikram. We are planning how to cleverly deal with it (double roles). He impacted so many people in the Army. I won’t say he is a personality that everybody knows but I felt it was a story that needed to be told. I found his story fascinating,” the actor told PTI about Shershah.
Before finishing up shooting the star grabbed another project of “Thadam“ remake. We know that it is quite tough to play a double role in a film. But we also know that the star wouldn’t be going to disappoint any of us. Producers promise that this movie is bound to steal the viewer’s heart. We all are witnessed for a long time Bollywood is making a remake of Tamil movies that creates a splash in theatre and internet, so we all expect this one is also going to hit the mark on the head. The cast would leave no stone unturned to make the audience happy and energetic.
