Takht Movie Trailer Video: Historic Magnum Opus To Release On Christmas 2021: Bollywood Film Industry has brought a new action-drama “Takht” which is being starred by Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles. The movie is all set to be released on 03 May 2020 and has been directed by Karan Johar. Karan Johar has announced the release date of his movie Takht. The movie Takht is a period drama, set in the Mughal era and chronicles the story of two warring brothers Aurangzeb and Dara Shikoh. The movie is based on the war between Shah Jahan’s two sons. And according to the reports Anil Kapoor will be seen as playing the Shah Jahan’s role.

If it comes to that, Vicky Kaushal plays Aurangzeb and Ranveer Singh will be Dara Shikoh in the film. Karan Johar shared a small teaser video and informed that the principal photography will begin in March of this year. In the video, a golden thrown is shown while a voiceover says, “Mughal Shehzaadon Ke Liye Takht ka Raasta Apno Ke Taboot Se Hokar Jaata Tha. Agar yeh Raasta Mohabbat Se Hokar Jaata Toh Shayad Hindustan ka Itihaas Kuch Aur Hota.”
