After Baaghi 3, Tiger Shroff Returns For Heropanti 2 As Bablu; To Be Directed By Ahmed Khan: Bollywood star Tiger Shroff, who has been recently seen in the hit film War collaborating with Hrithik Roshan and will soon be seen in yet another action movie Baaghi 3, is set to work in another sequel. This time, reports suggest, he will feature in a sequel to his debut film, Heropanti (2014). After six years we listen that the actor is ready to come with his second installment of a debutant movie.
The report added that Sabbir may not return and Baaghi director Ahmed Khan may replace him. “The production house (Sajid Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment) has a long-standing relationship with Ahmed and is extremely confident of the Tiger-Ahmed pairing. Together, they delivered a 175 crore plus Baaghi 2 and now, with Baaghi 3, they have taken the film a few notches higher. Trade pundits feel Baaghi 3 will be having a record-breaking business as well, so Sajid felt it’s the right time to get both his in-house talents to come together for Heropanti 2. The film goes on floors around May 2020.”
In an interview with GQ, Tiger had recently unveiled that he did not audition for the debut role. “Had there been one, I wouldn’t have got it anyway,” Tiger said. “Sajid was instrumental in guiding me. The route I should take, the heroes I should look up to, the films I should be doing. (He said) it’s important to work with the best makers, that I should work on my craft every day. If yesterday’s Tiger was to challenge the Tiger of today, the latter should beat the former,” Tiger added.
Commenting on the same, a source close to the venture says, “Yes Tiger has been locked for the second installment of Heropanti. Currently, Tiger is working on Baaghi 3 and will commence work on this after it.” Ask the source for more details about the same and they added, “The first was directed by Sabbir Khan, but Heropanti 2 will be directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.” Further talking about the film, the source continues, “Given that the first film featured some high octane stunts, be rest assured the second will take things to the next level.” Though currently, any official announcement has not been made, industry buzz sets that once the script and story are confirmed, the makers will formally announce the venture.
Tiger’s last movie WAR managed to collect over Rs 300 crore at the box office and also turned out to be his biggest blockbuster so far the date. Now, he’s gearing up for Baaghi 3 that is set to hit the screens next month.
