The television actor Jagesh Mukati, who has worked in many Gujarati and as well in Hindi shows has passed away on Wednesday at the age of 47. As per the media reports, the actor was rushed to the hospital after having complications in breathing. The actor was suffering from Asthma and kept on the ventilator too. The actor was seen in serials such as Amita Ka Amit, mythological show Shri Ganesh where he played the role of Lord Ganesha etc. He was also seen in films such as Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra starrer ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ and Aamir Khan starring ‘Mann’.
The Gujarati theatre artist and as well as Jigesh’s friend Sanjay Goradiya told to the news portal that “The actor got died yesterday on 10th June around 3:00 ‘O’ clock. Goradiya said that Jagesh was admitted to the hospital on Friday last week, but he didn’t tell anyone about this because he didn’t want anyone to be stressed for him because these days everyone is stressed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Jagesh had some obesity issues along with Asthma. He started dieting and working out to get rid of these diseases but couldn’t continue during the lockdown. So his Asthma started getting worsen. Last week, when was unable to breathe was taken to the CritiCare hospital in Juhu. His oxygen level was low. He was tested for COVID-19, and the result was negative.
Many actors came on social media to pay their condolence on Jagesh’s demise. ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ fame actress Ambika Ranjankar paid her condolence and says: ‘ He was supportive, kind and had a terrific sense of humour, gone too soon, Jagesh my friend you will be missed” and ends to say. His co-actor, Amita Ka Amit actress, Chandni Bhagnani also comes to express his condolence on the demise of the actor, says ” It’s a piece of heartbreaking news and can’t believe that he has left us. We have lost a gem today. I have learnt so much from you. You were a father figure for me and always been there to support me as a father. It is tough to believe that you have left us”.
