Kohli now waiting for the four-Test series against Australia, posted a message on social media tagging bollywood diva Anushka shama.
Reporter said- Virat has recently wrapped up the India-Bangladesh test match while Anushka is riding high on the adulation she has been receiving for Phillauri’s trailer, the actress recently came under the limelight when rumours of Virat producing Phillauri began doing the rounds.
Some fake reporter said – it is Virat who has spent the cash while Anushka and brother Karnesh’s banner Clean Slate is simply a front.
Some other reports maintained that Anushka has roped in Virat to promote the film which also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma.
The actress rubbished the reports and said, “Phillauri is produced by Fox Star Hindi.So those tv channels, websites,newspapers saying anything else please check facts, practice responsible journalism and have some shame, I have always led my career with dignity and chose to maintain silence on untruthful and fake stories but that doesn’t mean you can take my silence as my weakness and say anything without checking with my team.Rumours are reducing the topic of women empowerment.Also, for someone who makes living it must definitely be hard to believe that a person can stand on their own feet and do something meaningful with life.I am more than capable of promoting and producing my own films.”
However, Virat and Anushka were recently spotted together at an Indian Super League match in Goa.
