Wajid Khan, the popular bollywood music director from the Sajid-Wajid duo passed away today at the age of 43. He was suffering from COVID-19. The famous Sajid-Wajid Jodi is no more. 2020 is one of the darkest years of human history. Especially for us Indians. We lost another gem. His contribution to the Bollywood music industry will remember for ages. Another gem lost for India & Bollywood. This is very shocking news, 8 years ago he gave exceptional music and songs for Rowdy Rathore and today he is no more.
The composer has been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai and is reportedly on a ventilator. Wajid had been suffering from kidney problems for the past few years. Sanjay Tandon of the Indian Performing Right Society (IPRS) confirmed the news.

Wajid had been keeping a low profile due to his ill-health but was last seen making an appearance at the music launch of Salman Khan’s film Dabanng 3.

The voice behind some of the biggest hits. Like Soni De Nakhre (Partner, 2007), Jalwa (Wanted, 2009) Music composer Wajid Khan of Sajid-Wajid passed away a short while back. The composer was suffering from Coronavirus. Sonu Nigam also confirmed the news from his Facebook. Bollywood is giving condolences to Wajid Khan Ji’s family. We Still can’t believe that he is no more. We have always seen him smiling and spreading joy around him. Huge loss to the music industry.

Sajid-Wajid has been Salman Khan’s favorite music composer and was given a break by the Bollywood superstar in his film Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya in 1998. Sajid-Wajid has recently composed Salman Khan’s lockdown songs Bhai Bhai and Pyaar Karona. Wajid Khan of the Sajid-Wajid duo who has given several hits to the industry right from 1998. He also composed superb music for Films like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Housefull 2, Rowdy Rathore, etc.
