India’s popular OTT platform Netflix has just released its new Bollywood movie “Sardar Ka Grandson” on May 18. The drama movie is now streaming on Netflix and attracting many viewers towards itself. The trailer has already released last month on Youtube and now, the time of the release has also come today. The family drama movie is another level comedy-drama movie that has a very interesting story.
A Punjabi boy, Amreek Singh (Arjun Kapoor) is happy and helping guy doing a job in her girlfriend’s company in America. He has a grandmother, who is called by everyone as Sardar in their home (Neena Gupta). She is a 90-year-old lady and the owner of the family business. She was a resident of Lahore, Pakistan but during the partition, she visited India.
The story of the comedy-drama movie starts from when she wants to see her house, she built with her husband in Lahore first time. It’s not a big deal for her to go back to her hometown but the Pakistan Government blacklisted her to visit Pakistan. Well, the Grandson of Sardar, Amreek took a decision by saying if she can’t go to her house but her house can come here. He took a responsibility to bring Sardar house for her. Sardar promises him that if he will do this, she will handle all his responsibility to him and appoint him as a new owner of the company. Now, Amreek will do whatever he can and bring Sardar’s house back to Punjab.
The story looks different and Arjun Kapoor is playing a lead role in the movie with actress Rakul Preet Singh. The amazing comedy, drama, and adventurous movie was directed by Kaashvu Nair and written by Anuja Chauhan and Amitosh Nagpal. Along with this, actor Johan Abraham, Monisha Advani, Nikkhil Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Bhushan Kumar, and Rameshchandra Yadav are the producer of the movie. In the trailer, we can see that Johan Abraham is playing a special role in the movie and he was seen at a young age as a husband of Sardar in their younger time with Aditi Rao Hydari.
