One of the much-awaited movie of India, “Toofaan” is all set to release on the digital platform and the fans are enthusiastically waiting for the release of this movie. Before its release, the movie has created a lot of hype among the audience and as the movie features the extra-ordinary talented actor, Farhan Akhtar in the main lead role, the expectation from this movie is also immensely high. Two months ago, the teaser of the movie was released which has received a great response from the audience as well as from the critics. The movie, “Toofaan” is directed under the direction of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehar who has also directed Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan and Rakeysh under the banner of Excel Entertainment and ROMP Pictures. While Vijay Maurya has written the dialogues of the movie. The principal cinematography is done by Jay Oza and is edited by Anand Subaya. Famous music composer trio, Shankar-Ehsaan- Loy has given the music in the movie.

The movie “Toofaan” is inspired by the life of the National Level Boxer of India, Shaurya Diwan and will depict the inspirational journey of Aziz Ali aka Ajju Bhai and will showcase the struggle and hard work that the sportsman went through in order to become the national level boxer of India and how is never giving up attitude and his will power made him what he is today. Also, the movie will also depict the personal journey of the boxer apart from his professional journey.

The teaser of the movie, “Toofaan” was released on the official youtube channel of Amazon Prime Video India and as of now, the video has gained 23 million views and 266K likes. The fans of Farhan, Mrunal and legendary actor Paresh Rawal are looking forward to this movie. The movie was earlier scheduled to release on 21st May 2021, on the OTT platform of Prime Video.
