Director, Shaji Azeez is once again back to thrill the audience with a fresh Malayalam movie, “Wolf”. If you are a fan of the suspense-thrilling and mysterious movies and enjoy watching them, then, you must give it a try to this thrilling and bone-chilling movie. The fans have been intensely waiting for this movie for a long time and finally, the makers have decided to release this movie on the famous OTT platform. Set on the backdrop of lockdown, the movie will take the viewers into a journey of uncertainty, and will keep you hooked till the end with endless suspense.
The movie is all set to release today, that is, on 18th April 2021 on the Zee5. The film is directed under the direction of Shaji Azeez and the film is produced under the production banner of Damor Cinema and is produced by Santhosh Damodharan. The principal cinematographer of the movie is done by Faiz Siddik with the editing help of Noufal Abdullah and Ranjin Raj has given the music in the movie. Zee5 is the digital partner of the movie.
Wolf Movie: Plot
As previously mentioned, the story of the movie, “Wolf” is set on the backdrop of lockdown. All the happening that took place in the movie occurs after the government announced a lockdown in the area. The movie features Samyuktha Menon and Arjun Ashokan in the main lead role. In the trailer, we saw that the government announced lockdown and police are patrolling and keeping a watch over all the activities happening in society. In the same society lives a girl whose character is portrayed by Samyuktha and who is soon going to get married.
His soon-to-be husband comes to visit his soon-to-be Wife at her place and then, all of sudden they got to know that the government has imposed lockdown. Meanwhile, at the same time, a lot of things happens in that society. There is so much twist and turn in the movie, that it is very hard to anticipate what will happen in the climax. Apart from the main lead roles, we will also see Shine Tom Chacko in the lead role. It has been reported that we will also see two more characters in the main lead role, however, the makes have not revealed about them.
The trailer of the movie, “Wolf” was uploaded on 11th April 2021, at the official youtube channel of “Saina Movies” and so far the trailer has crossed more than 262k views. The trailer has got an amazing response from the audience. Earlier, the makers decided to release the movie theatrically, but later, looking at the current scenario of the Wuhan Virus pandemic, the makers decided to release the film on the OTT platform.
