Will Dangal surpass Sultan in terms of opening day collection? :- With Aamir Khan starer “Dangal” just a few days away from hitting the theater, its’s comparison with superhit blockbuster of Salman Khan starer “Sultan” has started. Are you curious to know will Dangal will be able to beat Sultan regarding the first-day collection? Well, to answer this question, we have a talk with the trade analyst, and he told that ” it will going to be difficult for Aamir’s Dangal to beat the Sultan regarding opening day collection which was Rs 36.54 crore. Sultan was released on Wednesday, a day before the Eid and collected a big amount. On the other side, Aamir’s Dangal is releasing on Sunday, not on the regular Friday. However, the movie is releasing solo and have no competition till next three weeks and thus, it will do well in the latter part of the tear and the opening days of the new year.”
The trade source further added that ” it will be difficult for Dangal to even came close to 30 crore mark on the opening day except it get the craze like Dhoom, who earned Rs 36.22 crore on the opening Day, but it Dangal has not hype like Aamir’s Dhoom had at that time.”
Except for Dhoom, Aamir’s not a single movie has managed to earn big on the Opening Day as PK collected Rs 27 crore on its opening day. Talaash (2012) was Rs 13 crore while 3 Idiots (2009) was just Rs 12.5 crore.
However, the trade source revealed that Dangal will make 25 crores on its opening day despite being the demonisation factor and it will go to join the 200 or 300 crore club and will become one of the biggest hit of 2016 along with Sultan.
Well, it will be interesting to see whether Dangal will break Sultan’s record or not? But one thing is sure that the fans of Aamir are desperately waiting for the release of Dangal to witness their favorite star on the big screen after Dhoom 3.
