Pixel 2 is the head chief smartphone with eSIM, a set in SIM that lets you directly connect to a carrier network with just one tap. The SIM stores all the essential information to detect and validate the mobile users. With the use of eSIM, users can easily connect through all the devices in the Google network, ranging from Android smartphones, Chromebooks as well as Wear OS smartwatches.

An eSIM comes as an integrated SIM chip which can’t be removed from the device and sometimes it is also known as eUICC (embedded Universal Circuit Card). With the usage of eSIM there will be no new SIM required.
