The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for submission of assignment for the June term-end exam (TEE) to May 31, 2020. The university has issued a notification in this regard on its official website at ignou.ac.in.
IGNOU TEE June Exam 2020
Earlier, the last date for submission of assignment was April 30, 2020, for those candidates who are expected to appear for the June term-end examination. The university took the decision following the extension of coronavirus lockdown to May 3.
Owing to the national lockdown in place until 3rd May 2020, the university has also allowed students to submit their assignments via online mode. In order to do this, students can complete their assignments using normal pen and paper mode and then scan them and then send it to their respective IGNOU regional centres for submission. The regional centres will accept scanned copies of handwritten assignments through a dedicated email id and take care of the evaluation process.
In a separate notification also confirms that the application form submission deadline for IGNOU June TEE 2020 Exam has been extended until 15th May 2020. During this period, the university will not charge any additional examination fee from the students for submitting their June TEE Exam forms. The university has not postponed the June term-end exams 2020 till now.
Regional centres of IGNOU across the country will remain closed till May 3.
