Well if we talk about the H-1B visa it is a non-immigrant visa by which the American companies can hire different country employes who are expected in some specific specialization. These American companies are fully dependent on this visa as they hire more than 10 thousand employees every year from most of the countries like India and China.
On the 15th of August 2020, on the occasion of India’s 74 independence day the major policy document was released, the Biden campaign shows there support toward the family-based immigration system & aerodynamic ongoing process for ethical worker visas. This is going to be the first time that a Democratic presidential candidate is thinking for American-Indians and comes with unique policies that are helpful for them. In the US there are more than 1.3 million American-Indians voters across 8 states.
In Biden’s campaign, they have said “He will increase the number of visas offered for permanent, work-based immigration based on macroeconomic conditions and exempt from any cap recent graduates of Ph.D. programs in STEM fields”.They also mentioned that “And, he will support first reforming the temporary visa system for high-skill, specialty jobs to protect wages and workers, then expanding the number of visas offered and eliminating the limits on employment-based Green Cards by country, which have kept so many Indian families in waiting for too long”. and according to the policy, Biden is going to protect the green card holder from the neutralization process.
