The renowned Chinese multinational company, Lenovo has finally launched its brand new smart clock named, “Lenovo Smart Clock 2” recently. The key highlight of this unique clock is that it will come with a touchscreen feature that will showcase the images from your smartphone when connected and along with that, it will also demonstrate weather and time. In addition, the Clock 2 will come with Google Assitance, a wireless optional smartphone charge and will be available in three colour variants. Besides, the company has declared that the clock is manufactured from recycled soft-touch fabric and at the same time doubles up as a smart speaker.
Lenovo Smart Clock 2 Specifications
The “Lenovo Smart Clock 2” has a touchscreen display of 4-inch that displays essential information including weather, time and a slideshow of photos from Google photos. The body of the clock is enclosed in a soft-touch reused fabric and two buttons are accommodated at the top of it, controlling the volume for the front-firing and speakers for 3W. Meanwhile, the base part of the speakers has a microphone mute switch as well as a power jack.
Besides, the users can buy extra wireless charging port of 10W that contains a Type-A USB port, providing a night light setting. Meanwhile, the dock can only be connected to the Smart Clock 2 using pogo pins. Upon connecting the clock with the pogo pin, the clock will act as a night light, a charging pad, and a stereo radio. In addition to these, it will also serve as a beside assistance that is powered by Google Assistant.
Meanwhile, under the cover, the clock is powered by MediaTek MT8167S and will come with a RAM of 1GB and onboard storage of 8GB. Also, the company has revealed that the size of the new, “Lenovo Smart Clock 2” is quite large than its previous lineups of the clock, as the “Clock 2” has a dimension of 113.48*93.3*71.33 mm and scales 298g without the wireless charging dock. Moreover, the smart clock will come with Bluetooth v4.2 and Wi-fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and 2.4GHz connectivity along with an accelerometer and a light sensor.
Lenovo Smart Clock 2 Price & Availability
“Lenovo Smart Clock 2” is available at a price of EUR 89.99 which is somewhat around Rs. 8,000. As of now, the company has not made any announcement regarding the release of the same in the Indian market, however, it has been reported from the company’s side that the new Smart Clock 2 shall be available for purchase in the US market from August 2021.
