Xiaomi has finally launched one of the much-awaited smart TV, “Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition” in the Chinese market along with the “Mi TV ES 2022”. The Extreme edition of Xiaomi is said to be a high-end model and will be available in three different size variants. The key highlight of this new smart TV is that it is powered by a MediaTek MT9950 chipset processor and will come with a dual Artificial Intelligence (AI) camera of 48 megapixels. Meanwhile, another key highlight of the Mi extreme edition is that it has an industrial 3D LUT film grade colour correction technology and in addition to that, the smart TV will also come with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition Specification
“Mi TV6 Extreme Edition” has a light and slim design. Also, as previously mentioned the smart TV is power by Media Tek MT9950 chipset and will come with a RAM of 4.5GB and internal storage of 64GB. Moreover, it will be available with a QLED 4K screen display with a brightness of 1,200 nits and a colour gamut coverage of 97% DCI-P3 and 10.7 billion colours. Also, as we have discussed previously, this time, the company has added a 3D LUT film industrial colour correction grade technology that will enhance the picture quality and will come with a 120HZ of refresh rate.
Meanwhile, in addition to the new 3D LUT technology, the company has also added an IMAX Enhanced video that will offer a MEMC of 120Hz. Apart from that, it will support an audio system of 100W and will come with an AI dual camera setup with the main sensor of 48 megapixels. Well, talking about the appearance of the smart TV, then, it will come with a slim design and full metal body with ultra-thin bezels.
Apart from that, the smart TV will support HDMI 2.1+ VRR for gamers as well as Dolby Vision Support. Also, as previously said, the smart “Mi TV 6 Extreme” will be available in three different size variants, which includes, 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch model.” Moreover, each model will come with a different type of backlight partition, like, the 55-inch model will have a backlight partition of 100, while the 65-inch model will have a partition of 224 and the 75-inch model will have a 255 partition.

Xiaomi has announced that the new smart “Mi TV6 Extreme Edition” along with the “Mi TV ES 2022” will be available for sale in China from 9th July 2021. The pre-orders of the same has already begun and the interested users can visit the official website of the company, “Mi.com” and can book the respective models of “Mi TV 6” in advance. The 55-inch model of Mi TV 6 is available at a price of CNY 5,999 Chinese yuan, while the 65-inch model and the 75-inch model is available at a price of CNY 7,999 Chinese yuan and CNY 9,999 Chinese yuan.
