The most awaited variant of OnePlus was unveiled on Tuesday. The Chinese handset ‘Mclaren Edition’ was much-talked amongst people. This set is combined with 10 GB RAM and 256 GB ROM. “The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition has been engineered with exact precision and new technology we’ve never used before. It’s our fastest, most cutting-edge device ever,” OnePlus CEO Pete Lau said in a statement.

The phone was launched in India after the global unveiling on Tuesday. The launch event was held on Wednesday in Mumbai. The phone comprises of 10 GB RAM, 256 GB ROM, Warp Charge 30 fast charging feature and has McLaren logo with papaya orange colour on the edges to the back of the phone. The new Warp 30 feature enables fast charging which in 20 minutes plug-in can give up to full day charge in the phone.
“Thanks to new ‘Integrated Circuits’ in both the charger and the phone, as well as finely tuned power management software, 30 watts of power flow to the handset without slowing down even when the device is being used, or generating excessive heat,” the company has claimed.
OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition: Price
The price of OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is set at Rs 50,999 for the 10 GB RAM + 256 GB ROM in India. The product will be up for sale from December 15 at Amazon India and OnePlus India website. The handset will also be sold at OnePlus Experience Store in C.P, New Delhi on December 13.

The OnePlus 6T McLaren circles Dual Nano SIM slots. Dimensions of the phone are 157.5 x 74.8 x 8.2 mm weighing 185 grams. The bottom edge at the back of the handset has papaya orange colour design. It has latest Warp 30 charging technology. OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is powered by Android 9.0 Pie. It has 6.41-inch full HD+ AMOLED Display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
The handset runs on the Octa-Core core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC processor. It contains 10 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage. No slot for SD Card therefore there won’t be any expandable memory.
Talking about the Cameras, OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition has a dual rear camera with 16-Megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX519 sensor and 20-Megapixel secondary camera with Sony IMX376K sensor. The camera can record video at 4K quality in 60 frames per second. It also has super slow motion video mode and dual LED flash.
The front camera circles a 16-MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1-1-micron pixel size, and EIS with enabled portrait mode.
The other features of the handset are 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v 5.0 and USB Type-C (version 2.0) port. It bounds a battery of 3,700 mAh with support of Warp Charge 30 which gives super-fast and durable charging.
