Royal Enfield is launching the much awaited ‘GT Twins 650’, the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 in India today on 14th November, 2018. Earlier in the U.S, Royal Enfield launched the 650 Twins with the starting price of $5799; on the other hand the Continental 650 GT was launched with the starting price of $5999.
Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 And Continental GT 650: Price Expectation
Last year, in November “The Interceptor 650” and “The Continental GT 650” was first showcased at EIMCA (Milan Motorcycle Show). In US, “The Interceptor 650” has been priced from $5,799, so in India, its expected price is 2.70 Lakh and “The Continental 650” has been priced from $5,999 in US, so its expected price in India will be starting from Rs.3 lakh. Correspondingly, The Royal Enfield Classic 500 ABS was also launched in US and was priced at $5500.
In the US, the Twins 650 were launched in 6 different alternates and it is also expected the launch of same models in India too.

Both The Inceptor 650 and The Continental 650 motorcycles have classic design and looks. In India, these Motorcycles are expected to be launched in various different colours such black, orange, chrome, silver, black red and white; although their looks might be slightly different but they carry similar advanced features.
The weight of ‘The Inceptor 650’ and ‘The Continental 650’ is 202 kg and 198 Kg individually. The dimensions of the Interceptor 650 are 2122*789*1165 while dimensions of the Continental 650 are 2122*744*1024.
Dual channel ABS, 36 spoke aluminium alloy rims, slipper clutch, and a steel tubular frame.
Both bikes have 174mm ground clearance with fuel capacity of 12.5 litres
Wheel and Tyre Size are: Front and Rear Wheel: 18inch and it will have ByBre (by Brembo) twin piston callipers on disc brakes on both the wheels
Front Tyre: 100/90-18, Rear Tyre: 130/70-18
These bikes are constructed with newly developed 648cc engine, Along with Parallel Twin, Four Stroke, Single Overhead camshaft engine, with Engine Power of 47.65PS@7100rpm. Both The Inceptor 650 and The Continental 650 motorcycles have dual channel ABS, 36 spoke aluminium alloy rims, slipper clutch, and a steel tubular frame. It has two Cylinders and a highest torque output of 52Nm@4000rpm.
