The Mi TV LUX OLED Transparent Edition launched today to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Xiaomi. Xiaomi was formed in April 2010 and its products got so popular that the company became the most successful electronics company in China in 2014. The company mainly deals with smartphones, LEDs, Laptops, and shoes along with many other admired products.
The newly edition OLED is a 55 inch TV that would be transparent and anyone can see through the screen. It looks like a trifling glass display when turned off. Once switched on, the refresh rate is around 120 HZ with having a response time of 1ms. The contrast ratio is 150,000:1 and its DCI-P3 color profile has a percentage of 93. As per some sources, its display screen is beyond great and provides a full-fledged screen with immense clarity.
It has made from the TOLED technology (Transparent Organic Light Emitting Diode). TOLED technology uses the components which are transparent in nature. It’s special in ways as their would be no backlighting since the diode itself emits light which later helps in making the pictures on screen floating. Other OLED televisions that have been released earlier from different companies don’t provide a see-through screen because of the presence of a cathode layer which reflects and because of that it fails to give that feature.
Xiaomi is one of the four companies to have individually produced chip capabilities of mobile phones. The other three companies’ names include Apple, Samsung, and Huawei. To brief, Xiaomi, a Chinese company launched its first smartphone in the same month back in 2011. Apart from being China’s largest electronics company it also holds a place as the fourth-largest electronics company around the world. Although, the product has only announced to be released in China and its availability among the people would be from August 16th.
