Xiaomi announced the release of its long-awaited smartphone Mi 10 on Friday. The phone was being tested by the company for months but got delayed because of the covid-19 pandemic. While the lockdown is eased in few areas, Xiaomi has now finally decided to launch this device.

As we know that, Xiaomi has already released the Mi 10 is Euros and China. This phone will also mark Xiaomi’s grand entry in the premium category. In the beginning of this year, we heard the news that Xiaomi has announced Mi and Redmi as sub-brands and the former will be focused on the premium segment in the market, which is currently dominated by Samsung and Apple.

The Mi variant with 10GB along with 128GB model is going to be available at Rs the 49,999. The 8GB along with 256GB model is going to be at Rs 54,999. Xiaomi is also offering a 30w wireless charger for all the customers who are pre-booking the phone. The phone is available for pre-order at Mi.com and Amazon and has begun.

Mi 10 is powered with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor which is incorporated with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. There is also a 128GB storage option available. The phone is going to have a huge 4,780mAh battery with 30W fast charging. It will support both wired and wireless charging. It also comes with the reverse wireless charging support which will be up to 10w.
Talking on the software front, Mi 10 has MIUI 11 custom RAM. The phone also consists Wi-Fi 6 support and a USF 3.0 storage.
Mi 10 comes with a good 6.67-inch 3D curved E3 AMOLED display along with FullHD+ resolution, HDR 10+ support, and 1120 nits peak brightness. The phone also consists of 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The phone has dual stereo speakers comprised of dedicated 1216 Super Linear Speaker. This can also directly detect the orientation to enhance and optimise the speakers on the top and bottom.
The biggest highlight or we can say unique feature of the Mi 10 is the camera. The phone comes with 8K video recording support. On the rear side it has four sensors which108-megapixel main sensor (1/1.33-inch sensor, 7P lens, 1.6um, Super Pixel, OIS), 2-megapixel depth sensor (f/2.4, 1.75um), 2-megapixel macro sensor (f/2.4, 1.75um), and 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor (f/2.4, 1.12um, and 123-degree field of view).
The phone is available in two colour variants which are Twilight Grey and Coral Green.
