Shahid Kapoor Next Will Be A Patriotic Film Backed By Dharma Productions Post Jersey: Shahid Kapoor recently grabbed his next flick jersey. It is an upcoming Indian 2020 Hindi language Sports film directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri and featuring actor Shahid Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, and Pankaj Kapoor in the lead roles. It is an Official remake of 2019 Telugu film with the same title jersey and the same director Gowtham Tinnanuri. And it is all informed that the movie is helmed by some newcomer directors. After four years, on the screen, it is a reunion of a father-son duo. It is going very excited to see them together after four years on screen. The film will be released in the theatre on 28 August 2020. According to the sources that the other cast is yet to be finalized.
It was in rumors that in August 2019, Rashmika Mandanna was signed as a lead actress. However, in mid-November 2019, Mandanna left the film and got replaced by super 30’s actress Mrunal Thakur. Shahid Kapoor’s father Pankaj Kapoor has been finalized to play his mentor in the film. Shahid Kapoor has started preparing his role as a cricketer for the film. The film is based on a patriotic plot. As we all know Shahid Kapoor always transfuses himself properly into the character. we have seen his splendid performances in many movies. Now this time again after four years the father and son duo sharing the screen together. Both can be seen excited and happy Sharing his excitement on becoming a part of the film, Pankaj said, “I am very excited to be part of the film. Jersey is a very strong story and is driven by emotions. Working with Shahid has always been very interesting and I have always admired his ability to portray emotions beautifully.”
Director Gowtam Tinnanuri is also thrilled to be working with such a prolific actor like Pankaj. He says, “Pankaj sir is such a great actor and we have all grown up seeing his work. To be able to direct him is a great honor and I know that he will fit perfectly for the role of a mentor in the movie.”
Spectators are expecting a transcendent story from creators because the film features two famous and hard-working stars, Shahid and Mrunal. Mrunal has last appeared in super 30 and Batla house both the movies were super successful and Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Kabir Sing which Was also remarkable and hit movie.
