One of the prominent Chinese companies, “Huawei” has finally launched its brand new tablet named, “Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6” in the Chinese and European market along with the other two tablets, “Huawei MatePro 10.8” and “Huawei MatePad 11”. The key highlight of MatePad Pro 12.6 is that it is operated by Harmony OS 2.0 and will be available in Wifi and 5G models and is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 9000E processor. Moreover, the tablet is also powered by other Huawei devices including smartwatches and smartphones. The Wifi model will be exclusively available for Chinese users. As of now, the company has not revealed when they planning to launch the same in the Indian market.
Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 Specification
The new tablet has a WQXGA OLED display screen of 12.6 inches along with a screen resolution of 2560*1600 pixels and has a screen to body proportion of 90%. The table also has a contrast ratio of 1,00,000:1 and is powered by Harmony OS 2 processor. Also, as previously mentioned, the tablet is operated under the Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 9000E SoC operating system. Apart from these, there is a 13- megapixel triple rear camera and a front camera of 8-megapixel.
The tablet has a Huawei Histen 7.0 Audio in order to give the best audio output to the users while the tablet has a battery capacity of 10,050mAh and will come with fast charging support of 40W. The Wifi model of “Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6” is available in two storage configuration variants. The first variants include a RAM of 8GB and internal storage of 128GB, while the second variant includes a RAM of 8GB and internal storage of 256GB. Meanwhile, the tablet will be available in three colour options including Olive Green White and Matte Grey.
On the other hand, the 5G model of “Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6” is available in only one storage variant which includes 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage and can be further expanded by using a nano microSD card. The tablet will come with Wi-fi, Type-C USB and Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity and will support all 5G network brands in Europe and China. Besides, the tablet also has other features such as a gravity sensor, hall sensor, light sensor, gyroscope and compass. Also, the new tablet is compatible with the 2nd generation Huawei M-Pencil.
Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 Price & Availability
The new “Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6” will be available for sale from 10th June 2021 on the official website of the company and for now, the pre-booking of the same has already started. The first storage variant of the wifi model will be available at a price of CNY5,499 Chinese yuan which is roughly Rs. 57,000. While the second storage variant type of the Wi-fi model will be available at a price of CNY 6,699 which is somewhat around 76,600.
