Motorola just launched the Moto G8 Plus, the company’s latest phone in the new G8 series in India for Rs 13,999 and is available in one variant only.
Motorola launches G8 Plus Launched In India
The handset comes with a quad-pixel camera system and delivers four times low-light sensitivity for sharper photos and videos in any light. The phone features a 48MP sensor with autofocus, a 16MP sensor, and a 5MP camera. On the front is a 25MP selfie snapper with an f/2.2 aperture.
According to Motorola, “With a camera designed for video, capture brighter videos in low-light with quad-pixel technology. Make sure the action stays smooth even in the bumpiest situations with enhanced video stabilisation.”
The phone features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ waterdrop notch display and is powered by Snapdragon 665 with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone runs Android 9 (Pie), which is upgradable to Android 10 and guaranteed security patches for 2 years. It also has a stereo speaker setup that’s been tuned by Dolby.
The company also claimed that the 4,000mAh battery inside the phone offers 40 hours of life on a single charge which is available with 15W TurboPower fast charging.
Motorola launches G8 Plus Specification Features
Reportedly, the Moto G8 Plus is available in a single variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, with the latter being expandable up to 512GB in India. Motorola is currently offering the G8 Plus in two gradient colour finishes: Cosmic Blue and Crystal Pink.
Design-wise, the Moto G8 Plus appears similar to the Moto G7 with its 19:9 aspect ratio, broad chin, and not-so-thin side bezels. The back has a gradient look, whereas the Action camera is located at the top left corner flanked by an array carrying 48MP lens, 5MP depth sensor, Laser Autofocus component, and an LED flash. The usual Moto branding with the fingerprint sensor is placed next to the camera array aligned to the centre. The rear is not made of glass, but the glossy back still looks premium.

Motorola is going to start the sale of the G8 Plus on Flipkart from the end of October.
