History of Lord Krishna’s Birth
On Krishna 18 July 3228 BCE, Devaki gave birth to the eighth son in the imprisonment her brother King Kansa as it was a prediction that her son will be the end of his regime so the Kansa started killing her all the new borns. Afraid of a prophecy that foretold his death by the Devaki’s eighth son, Kansa gave the couple imprisonment. Then Kansa killed the six newborn and Devaki apparently lost her seventh child while a miscarriage (which was actually a mystical transfer of the fetus to Rohini’s womb as Balarama). When Krishna the eighth son was born his father Vasudeva take him out to save him from Kansa.
As per the orders of Lord Vishnu, Vasudeva took the Newborn Krishna to Yashoda and Nand. Krishna grew up in Gokul. He then came back to Mathura and killed Kansa with the help of Balram.
