The Twitter handle of the ANI (Asian News International) has mentioned in a post that the mortal remains of the soldier Naik Gursewak Singh are going to be delivered to his residence. The relics of Late. Naik Gursewak Singh will be sent from the Amritsar Air Force Station of Punjab with respect as soon as possible. He was a victim of the Tamil Nadu chopper crash on Wednesday, 8th December 2021. Apart from the soldier Naik Gursewak Sing, Indian CDS along with his wife and 10 other attendants lost their lives.

The concerned accident took place took place in the Coonoor of Tamil Nadu state. There were 14 people in the helicopter and 13 attendants died. The only survivor of this accident, Group Captain Varun Singh, is said to get his 80 per cent skin burnt as a result of this tragedy. The Tragedy occurred with the Russian helicopter Mi-17 V5 carrying 14 people in it.

Who was Naik Gursevak Singh?

Gursevak Singh was posted at the designation of a Niak in the Indian Army. He was from the Tarn Taran district of Punjab. He became a part of the Indian Army 9 PARA (SF) only 20 ago from his death in a helicopter tragedy. He had reportedly come back from his 40 days vacation in the month of November 2021.

He passed away at the age of 35 years in an Indian Air Force helicopter crash on Wednesday, 8th December 2021 in Tamil Nadu’s Coonoor. His younger brother, Gurbakhsh Singh, is being said to give a statement that he had talked to his brother on the night of Tuesday, 7th December 2021 on a phone call. Later, he came across the news of the death of his brother “Naik Gursevak Singh” on TV.
