Rajjat Barjatya Passed Away, CEO Of Rajshri Media Twitter Reaction :- CEO and MD of Rajshri Entertainment Private Limited, Rajjat Barjatya is no more with us as he passed away after suffering from prolonged cancer. He was admitted to Jaslok Hospital since few days. He was fighting with cancer since three months and last evening around 6:30 p.m he took his last breath. His wife also tried to get a bone marrow transplant surgery, but things didn’t go right.” In the past, Rajjat had suffered from leukemia and survived the same.
Rajjat Barjatya was also the founder and managing trustee of Rajshri Foundation, which is a non-profit social enterprise of Rajshri Group. He also co-produced some Rajshri Productions films such as ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Hum Apke Hain Kaun’ and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. The Exequies will be at Worli Cremation ground at 1 p.m. today.
Belonging from a filmi family, whose taproot were set in the film industry since 1947, Rajjat wanted to contribute to further extending his parents company. Rajshri media credits itself on providing some of the best TV shows and presenting amazingly good family content for the fans. Rajjat himself designed a path-breaking step in the digital communications for Rajshri. In fact, the digital publicity of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was his innovation.
In a conversation with a leading financial daily, Rajjat had said, “We used a digital-first approach. All productive (posters, trailer, songs, dialogue promos, behind the scenes units) were unveiled on the web before TV. The three gems of PRDP — Salman, Sonam Kapoor and Sooraj Barjatya — talked to digital media about the movie and their imagination behind it. Salman and Sonam are also quite engaged on social media and frequently shared some stuff from the movie.”
His close associates from the enterprise grieve his early death and shared their mourning on Twitter.
